The Heads of State “ collection were inspired from African & Native American mask as seen from visits at the Metropolitian Museum of Art during my visits . The making of these modern day urban tribal mask using discarded and found materials was to express rebirth and a new way of seeing potential in things no longer useful. H.O.S act as spirit totems having each a unique expression of character thru the counterparts used to create the face.
